What is Duova Inhaler?

After the breathing of Duova inhaler, it helps to expand up the narrow airways, and treats the patients from asthma. Duova inhaler is a mixture of two major compounds named as Tiotropium Bromide and Formoterol Fumarate. The symptoms usually change with time. The main reason behind COPD is bronchospasm. Some symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder are; stiffness of the chest, breathless and shortness of breathing. It has 9mcg of Tiotropium Bromide and 6mcg of Formoterol Fumarate.

Tiotropium Bromide: It belongs from anticholinergic bronchodilator. Tiotropium bromide blocks the discharge of Acetylcholine from the synaptic cleft of neurons. In this way the relaxation of the smooth muscles takes place and it is not allowed to treat mild attack of asthma.
Formoterol Fumarate:Formoterol Fumarate is beta 2 receptor agonists. The main purpose of Formoterol Fumarate is to relax the smooth muscles of the bronchioles and to obstruct the production of chemicals. These chemicals are discharged from various types of cell; Mast cells, basophils, eosinophils, neutrophils, and much more. These cell types release few chemicals named as Cytokines, eicosanoids, and Leukotrienes.
